Carolina Coalition Initiative Grant
The North Carolina Coalition Initiative grant, was awarded to the Wilson County Substance Abuse Coalition. The funds from this grant were the first from the state legislature to be appropriated for the building of Coalitions. The money was put in the hands of Wake Forest University to be divvied among eight Coalitions. This grant is in the amount of $57,500 which will help to fund the Coalition through July 31, 2009. Thank you to all who gave your support through letters and other wise.
The New Office
The Coalition's office is complete. We are so appreciative of the Wilson County Maintenance Dept. for all their hard work in re-vamping the space. It looks great!
